Best practices
// Include at least one keyword in the first two headlines. Google weighs early headlines more heavily when assembling the ad.
// Avoid repeating the exact same phrase across multiple headlines. Each one should cover a distinct angle: product, offer, benefit, or action.
// Use a call to action in at least one headline, for example "Shop Now" or "Get a Quote".
// Fill all 15 headline slots and all 4 description slots where possible. Google Ads needs variety to test combinations and reach "Good" or "Excellent" ad strength.
// Write every headline and description so it can stand on its own. Google can show any combination, not just the order you typed them in.

Three things this preview tells you

01
How Google assembles the ad

A Responsive Search Ad shows three of your headlines and up to two descriptions at a time, chosen and reordered by Google based on the query and device. This preview simulates that by rotating a random combination each time you click shuffle.

02
Why character limits matter

Headlines are capped at 30 characters and descriptions at 90. Text that exceeds the limit is rejected by Google Ads at save time, so the live counter here flags overages before you paste anything into the interface.

03
Why more assets improve performance

Google needs at least 3 headlines and 2 descriptions to serve an ad at all. With only the minimum, there is little for the algorithm to test. Filling closer to all 15 headlines and 4 descriptions gives it more combinations to learn from.

The ad looks right. Need the campaign around it to convert?

A well-built ad is one input. Structure, bidding, and tracking decide whether it turns into profitable volume. If your account needs a second set of eyes, let's talk.
